drive_pricingGoogle Drive rivede i prezzi al ribasso del proprio cloud.

Per tutti i pacchetti a pagamento il prezzo del servizio si è ridotto notevolmente lasciando inalterati i 15 GB gratuiti per tutti gli account.

Nella tabella dei servizi a confronto si possono vedere i nuovi prezzi offerti che variano, ad esempio, da 59,88 $ a 23,88 $ per 100 GB di spazio oppure da 599,88 $ a 119,88 $ per 1 TB.

Una diminuzione veramente notevole, vedremo come si comporteranno i servizi concorrenti come Box, Dropbox o OneDrive.

Google Drive è stato attivato qualche giorno fa da Google ed ha portato importanti novità per gli utenti che intendano utilizzarlo.

Per iniziare abbiamo a disposizione 5 GB di spazio disco gratuito che può essere ampliato attraverso i pacchetti a pagamento che prevedono 25 GB per 2,49 dollari al mese, otteniamo in questo caso 25 GB per Drive, 25 Gb per Picasa e ulteriori 25 GB per Gmail.  L’upgrade può essere anche da 100 GB per 4,99 dollari al mese e fino a 16 TB con preventivo.

Anche in questo caso sono previste delle applicazioni sia desktop che mobile ma non è previsto una utility per Linux.

Drive è andato a sostituire il servizio Documenti di Google mantenendo comunque lo stesso sistema di condivisione delle cartelle e dei file in esso contenuto.
